In the event of a medical emergency

If your policy or certificate of insurance includes out-of-country medical benefits administered by Allianz Global Assistance, and you require treatment while travelling due to a medical emergency, please call Allianz Global Assistance prior to seeking treatment whenever possible.

In a serious medical emergency, get to a hospital and have a family member or friend call on your behalf once you’re at the facility.

To submit a claim

You may file a claim by visiting the Allianz Global Assistance Online Claims Portal. The secure online claims portal provides a smooth, efficient experience while keeping you informed of what is happening at each stage of your claims journey.

This user-friendly portal enables you to:

• Easily create a secure account, where you can submit a new claim and track its status.
• Upload all necessary documents to process a claim instead of sending them in via regular mail. Photos of documents taken with a mobile device are also accepted.
• Easily identify any documents you may have missed and add them to your claim submission.
• Save and return to a claim you started but have not yet submitted.

Claims can be submitted through the online Claims Portal for a wide range of benefits, including:

• Trip cancellation
• Trip interruption
• Flight delay
• Lost or delayed baggage
• Rental car damage
• Out-of-pocket medical expenses
