Steve leads Duuo by Co-operators, an innovative provider of embedded P&C insurance. His focus is on establishing entry points into adjacent businesses to grow the company’s client base and advance its resiliency impact on Canadians. As an extension of this role, he is also executive sponsor of the organization’s Enterprise Innovation department and Corporate Venture Fund.
Steve joined Co-operators to helm the specialized Sovereign Insurance business, where – as a steady champion of enterprise-wide innovation – he brought many opportunities and partnerships to the fold. Prior to that, he developed innovative customer-payment solutions for a Canadian “Big Six” bank, and guided strategy and innovation for a leading global specialty insurance business.
Steve holds a BA (Hons.) Economics and a Master of Business Administration, as well as a Director’s Education Program (ICD.D) designation.
