It’s our world.
Together, we can make it better.

We believe the world is a better place when we take care of the things that matter. As a co-operative insurer, we believe we have a responsibility to help build stronger, safer communities by actively supporting distraction-free driving, mental health, flood safety, and sustainability.

Find out what we’re doing to help communities become more resilient, and join us by getting involved in your community. Let’s get everyone talking about building a better world!

How are we helping to strengthen our communities?

Distraction-free Driving

Encouraging distraction-free driving

Distracted driving is a factor in one in every four crashes, and it’s putting communities at risk. We partnered with the Traffic Injury Research Foundation (TIRF) and Drop it and Drive (DIAD) to develop ways for Canadians to improve their driving habits.

Mental Health

Supporting mental health

Healthier, safer communities start with healthier people. By supporting local and national mental health initiatives in your community, we want to make sure people have access to the services and support they need, when and where they need them.

Flood Risk

Reducing the risk of flood damage

In 2015, we became the first Canadian insurer to offer overland flood insurance, which is now available in Alberta and Ontario. It was the first step in our ongoing response to the increasing risk of extreme weather in Canada. We continue to work with all levels of government so we can offer Comprehensive Water coverage across the country in 2017.

Sustainability

Promoting sustainability

Programs like our IMPACT! Youth Program for Sustainability Leadership spark innovation and encourage future generations to actively take part in building a more sustainable world. We offer sustainable insurance options and discounts, and do our part to improve sustainability across our organization.
