Insurance Investments Group Claims About us

Roger’s goal is to keep Addenda, one of Canada’s largest multi-asset investment firms, sustainable – both financially and environmentally. As the leader of a firm known for its co-operative roots and sustainable investing practices, he oversees the development and deployment of its business strategy and operations, providing investment management services to pension, corporate and private-wealth clients.

Under his tenure, Addenda has launched Canada’s premier impact-bond fund and two climate-transition equity funds, and has joined the worldwide Net Zero Asset Managers (NZAM) initiative.

Roger promotes sustainable financial markets as the Chair of the Responsible Investment Association (RIA) Board of Directors, as a member of the Steering Committee of Climate Engagement Canada (CEC), as a board member of Finance Montréal, and as an Advisory Board member of the Institute for Sustainable Finance at the Smith School of Business (Queen’s University). He has also presented on climate-related topics and moderated panels on Indigenous economic reconciliation. In 2021, Roger received Canada’s Clean50 and Clean16 Awards, recognizing his contributions to “clean capitalism” as a leader in the financial-services industry.

He holds a CFA® designation, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from McGill University.
